<p>PURPOSE: To decrease recognition errors, to decrease the number of parts of a product, and to scan a bar code with a high speed by detecting bar code data by using a delta distance system. CONSTITUTION: An optical signal reflected from a bar code is detected by a bar code detector 1, and converted into a digital signal, and when a bar code signal is outputted, toggle signals Ta-Td are generated and outputted from a pulse generating part 2. That is, each time the bar code signal is changed from a high potential '1' to a low potential '0', the inverted toggle signal Ta and a toggle signal Te opposite to the toggle signal Ta are generated and outputted. Also, each time the bar code signal is changed from the low potential '0' to the high potential '1', the inverted toggle signal Tb and the toggle signal Td opposite to the toggle signal Tb are generated and outputted. Therefore, the bar code data can be exactly detected by using a delta distance system without directly counting the bar and space of the bar code.</p> |
