<p>The invention relates to the locks of vehicles. This lock, especially for the bonnet, comprises a keeper (6), into a housing (5) of which is capable of engaging, during closing, a bolt-supporting element (2), in this particular case a rotary fork (4), cooperating by catching with a fixed stud (7) of the keeper (6). The housing (5) of the keeper (6) comprises self-centring and offset-compensating means which consist of fixed abutments (11, 12) solid with said housing (5) and elastically deformable in the transverse direction of the lock.
