PURPOSE:To recognize a synonym retrieval impossible cause by automatically starting a misspelling detection processing in connection to the time of a synonym retrieval processing function. CONSTITUTION:When a synonym retrieval means (synonym dictionary function part 17) starts the retrieval processing of word information becoming a synonym candidate with respect to the respective words in a document, a control means (control part 12) controls the automatic start of a misspelling detection means (spelling mistake detection function part 22 in this execution example) based on the retrieval processing result. |
