COATED POLYESTER FIBER FABRIC AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To provide a coated polyester fiber fabric extremely reduced in the transfer of disperse dyes for preventing the staining of the fabric. CONSTITUTION:A coated polyester fiber fabric comprises a resin-coated polyester fiber structure dyed with a disperse dye, the coating resin containing the salt of the group IVA element in a substantially dissolved state. A method for producing the coated polyester fiber fabric is characterized by coating a disperse dye-dyed polyester fiber structure with a resin solution containing a salt compound of the group IVA element in a substantially dissolved state, the salt compound being soluble in water or organic solvents, and subsequently drying or wet-coagulating the coated resin solution into a resin film.
