PURPOSE:To smooth vector data distributed on a circumference while keeping the curvature by using the average value of a vector group locally existent near vector of interest in a polarcoordinate system as a smoothed vector. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate transforming means 23 activated by a control means 22 completes the processing by storing data extracted from contents, which are stored in a polarcoordinate vector storing means 24, concerning an i-th vector respectively in an adjacent dynamic diameter data storing means 12 and an adjacent angle data storing means 13 while using a proper positive even number W stored in a vector data storing means 10. Next, the control means 22 activates a radial average value calculating means 14, for example, and completes the processing by storing the calculated value in a radial average value storing means 16 while using contents stored in the storing means 12. When a sort means 15 completes the processing, the control means 22 activates an angle average value calculating means 18. |
