<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the device capable of deciding whether each cassette is possible for recording or not at the early stage when the cassette is fitted in and enhancing the reliability in the handling. CONSTITUTION:A pawl detection lever 701 is provided at the position of the erroneous erasure prevention pawl of cassette mounted on this tray device. In this pawl detection lever, the rotational position of the other end part is varied by the presence or absence of the erroneous erasure prevention pawl. A shutter mechanism 720 is made to be in operation or not in operation by the rotational position of a pawl detection lever 701 in the process that the tray device is inserted into the inside of the box. The shutter mechanism actuates a tape end detection element 730 and the presence or absence of the erroneous erasure prevention pawl is decided by inputting the detection signal from this tape end detection element 730 into the control part.</p> |
