The invention concerns a process and a device for producing blow-moulded hollow bodies (11) made of plastic, preferably PET. A cast, hollow, hot preform (11) is placed in a hot blow mould (14) and the material is expanded until its walls adopt the desired shape of the hollow body. Different regions of the wall are subjected to different degrees of expansion, depending on the desired shape of the hollow body. To modify such a process and such a device to produce reusable hollow bodies, it is proposed that, before blow moulding, additional heat be supplied by an additional heater (13) to transition regions (11c) of the wall of the preform between wall regions subjected to different degrees of expansion, in particular between a wall region subjected to little or no expansion and a wall region subjected to greater expansion. |
