A retaining device, e.g. to retain a quilt cover on a bed, comprises a strap (12) having openings (14) at each end, and two discs (13). The discs (13) are positioned internally of a quilt cover (4) and are pushed through the openings (14) trapping one layer of the quilt cover (4). The discs (13) can be oval, and the openings (14) circular, so that the discs are secured on the strap (14). |
