PURPOSE:To provide a cement admixture useful mainly in the field of civil engineering and construction and a cement composition using the aforementioned cement admixture. CONSTITUTION:This invention is constituted as follows. A cement admixture containing calcium aluminosilicate glass, gypsums and a mono- or trivalent metallic sulfate as active components and a cement composition containing a cement and the cement admixture. The cement composition, capable of readily regulating the operation time and excellent in developing properties of initial strength is obtained according to this invention.
