PURPOSE:To remove the ambiguity of the meaning of a KANA(Japanese syllabary) writing word in Japanese. CONSTITUTION:The dictionary consultation/morpheme analysis part 11 of a translation module 5 divides an inputted Japanese sentence into a Japaneses morpheme string, consults a translation processing dictionary stored in a external storage part 6, analyzes a morpheme and recognizes a Japanese word and the part of speech. When there is the Japanese word which is KANA-writte in an obtained Japanese word string, a notation information processing part 12 refers to notation information stored in the external storage part 6 and displays the plural KANJI notations of the Japanese word which is KANA written in a display part 2. The KANJI notation and the meaning of the Japanese word which is KANA-written are specified based on key input from an input part 3. Thus, the ambiguity of the meaning of the Japanese word which is KANA-written in the inputted Japanese sentence is removed and an efficient language processing can be executed. |
