PURPOSE:To supply a sentence inspection device which can inspect a position where a polite style and a usual style are used and to easily designate a condition on the position with the level of politeness. CONSTITUTION:A style expression storage means 3 stores expression characterizing the style (usual style/polite style). A style expression detection means 4 detects the expression of the style expression storage means 3 from an inputted sentence. A politeness degree designation means 9 designates the level of the politeness of the style. A position condition storage means 5 stores the position where the expression characterizing the style is used in correspondence with a politeness degree. A position condition judgement means 6 judges whether expression detected in the style expression detection means 4 satisfies the politeness degree and the condition of the position or not. |
