<p>PURPOSE:To control the action returning an indexer to a home position according to the stop position of the indexer when one job is completed by vertically arranging multi-stage trays, and setting the home position of the indexer at the position corresponding to the uppermost tray. CONSTITUTION:The home position of an indexer 10 is set at the position corresponding to the uppermost tray t1, and the sorting work is performed at the home position. When the job of the indexer 10 is completed at the middle position in a sorter 5, whether the action to return the indexer 10 is once stopped at the middle position or the indexer 10 is continuously driven to the home position is judged based on the time that the first copy of the next job reaches the sorter 5, and the drive of the indexer 10 is controlled.</p> |
