PURPOSE:To take in word processor data as image data without intermediary of a scanner. CONSTITUTION:A print control part 2 which converts code data generated by a word processor device to image data and selects printing or recording of image data and a page buffer 3 to which image data is written out from the print control part 2 are provided, and an electronic filing device is provided with an image data recording control part 6 which records image data on an external recording medium 11 by the command from the print control part 2 and reports the address and the capacity of the page buffer 3 to a picture compression control part 8. Consequently, documents generated by the word processor are easily electronically filed without degrading the printing quality. |
