A wall plug 10 for use in walls 24 composed of hollow building elements comprises elastically-deformable sleeves 12, 13, an intermediate ring 16, a bearing ring 17 and an internally-threaded ring 18 into which a bolt 14 can be threaded. The rings, which each have at most the same external diameter as the sleeves, are interlockingly and releasably engageable with the sleeves. In use, the plug is inserted into bore 23 in the wall, the bolt is inserted through the object 27 to be fastened into the plug, and the bolt is rotated so as to move ring 18 towards the bolt head thereby compressing the sleeves. <IMAGE> |
