PURPOSE:To stably retain and receive articles in a plurality of tiers with out falling off from an opening at the end of a container by a method wherein an article in an upper tier is retained with its upper end part engaged with a notched part, an article in a lower tier is retained with its upper end part engaged with a notched part of a partition plate and a packing is made with the lower end part of the article in the upper tier and a stepped part of the partition plate engaged with each other. CONSTITUTION:A packing container 28 receives therein articles 30 and 31 in two tiers. The article 30 in the upper tier is retained with its upper end part 30a engaged with a pair of notched parts 7 formed at the parts of joining a top wall and side walls, a bottom surface 30b thereof makes contact with the upper surface of a second top wall 21b of a parttition plate 29 and the container 28 is restrained from movement toward openings at both the ends by a stepped part 27 of a first top wall located in the upper position. On the other hand, the article 31 in the lower tier is retained with its upper end part 31a engaged with a pair of notched parts 25 formed at the parts of joining the top wall and side walls of the partition plate 29, a lower end part 31b thereof is slightly engaged with a pair of notched parts 10 formed at the parts of joining the side walls and a plate part and, in this condition, the container is restrained from movement toward the openings at both the ends by the partition plate 29 itself. |
