<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a proper pressurization value depending on the maximum blood pressure of a person to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:The pressure of a pressurizable cuff and a pulse wave which are obtained through a pressure detecting section 32 during the pressurizing of a pressurizable cuff 2 are extracted to determine a hourly rate of change in the amplitude of the pulse wave at a control section 51. When the hour rate of change in the amplitude of the pulse wave exceeds a specified threshold, it is judged that an internal pressure of the cuff exceeds the maximum blood pressure of a person to be inspected to stop the pressurization of the cuff 2 with a pump 21.</p> |
