PURPOSE:A cosmetic, containing fine flat mica powder obtained by bonding ultrafine mica powder with a transparent binder into microspheres and capable of sufficiently improving the extensibility while fully utilizing optical characteristics unique to the mica. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic containing fine flat mica powder consisting of at least one of mica, mica coated with titanium oxide and mica coated with iron oxide, consisting of ultrafine mica powder, containing >=70% particles passing through a 1mum screen opening and having 0.2-0.02mum thickness at the same time and mostly bonded into microspheres having 2-30mum diameter with a transparent binder, e.g. silicic acid, titanium oxide, alumina, various resins or paste. Makeup can be thinly and naturally finished by using the above- mentioned cosmetic utilizing optical characteristics unique to mica with excellent extensibility without unevenness. |
