PURPOSE:To arrange strain gages in thin parts that support center thick parts formed in X and Y directions so that the acceleration in each direction is individually and accurately detected. CONSTITUTION:Diffusive strain gages RS1-RS12 are arranged on thin parts in X and Y directions that support a center thin part 4, in consideration of the effect of the acceleration applied to different direction. In this layout, a distortion gage that forms a bridge circuit for detecting the acceleration in each direction individually is arranged on the side of a peripheral thick part 3 of the X- and Y-direction thin part, while a distortion gage that forms a bridge circuit in Z direction is arranged on the straight line on the peripheral thick part side of the thin part in X direction as well as a center thick part. As the other layout, a distortion gage is arranged on the center line of the X- and Y-direction thin parts, so as to form two pairs of bridge circuits out of the distortion gage on each center line. The acceleration in each direction is measured by using single output or by combining the outputs of a plurality of the bridge circuits in this sensor. |
