ULTRASONIC THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide an ultrasonic three-dimensional image display device by allowing the displaying of the surface of a display object in a stereoscopic black and white image and the displaying of a section of the display object in a B-mode cross-section image. CONSTITUTION:An echo data of a three-dimensional area in an object to be inspected taken in is stored into a three-dimensional data memory 16. The echo data are compared with a specified threshold and the echo data corresponding to the cross section of the display object and that corresponding to the surface thereof are extracted. The echo data extracted are formed to be a B-mode section image and a stereoscopic black and white image, and both the images are displayed simultaneously.
