PURPOSE:To seek for the quantity of operation of a vehicle suitable for road environment at high speed and with small storage capacity. CONSTITUTION:The image of the road environment at running of a vehicle is picked up at real time, and the picked-up image is divided into a plurality of small regions. Road data are created, which include the information on the existence of the road parts in a plurality of these divided regions. These road data are made the input value of the neural network and the quantities of one or more kings of operations, which decides the actions of the vehicle such as the accelerator, the brake, the steering, etc., are made the output value. It controls the actual running of the vehicle according to the output value, or according to the difference with the quantity of operation being done by a driver, it outputs an alarm, which shows that the quantity of operation by the driver has caused difference with the proper quantity of operation being sought from the road environment. |
