PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer color film capable of detecting the presence of a film, discriminating the film and detecting the end of the film and the cueing positions of respective color regions using a single sensor. CONSTITUTION:For example, respective regions of black (K), red (R), green (G) and blue (B) are provided to a color film F having a transparent film base. The respective regions are divided by spaces S1-S4 and a space SK for confirming that a color is black (K) is provided to the end part of the color film F with respect to the space S1. Further, a space SR for confirming red (R), a space SG for confirming green (G) and a space SB for confirming blue (B) are provided. A sensor 88 confirms whether the output signals obtained by the spaces SK, SR, SG are large or small and, in the relation with a timer set time, either one of black (K), red (R), green (G) and blue (B) or the end of the film can be confirmed. |
