PURPOSE:To maintain an air suction capacity by extending a front panel of an indoor unit to a bottom plate frame, setting the lower part to a suction port formed with punching metals, installing a high performance filter thereon and a suction port on the rear board, and taking in air from an outer wall in a suction device of a discreet type air conditioner for a building service. CONSTITUTION:When an indoor fan is operated, the indoor air flows in as indicated by the arrow A from a suction port 108 of a punching metal 101 of a front panel. At the same time, the indoor air is introduced form a hole 102 of an outer wall 101 by way of a clearance 115 between the outer wall 111 and a rear panel 114. The air is sucked up into a plane suction port 4 of a large hole 3 of the rear panel 114 as indicated by the arrow B. The indoor air which flows in as indicated by the arrows A and B, is supplied to a heat exchanger 112 by way of a filter 110. |
