<p>PURPOSE:To reduce printing time for a thermal head type printer by carrying out edition concurrently with printing operation. CONSTITUTION:The title device is equipped with an editing means that expands printing data into dot pattern data in a dot pattern memory, a means that heats and makes printing a thermal head with the dot pattern data therewith, a concurrent processing means that operates aforementioned editing means during the time other than the one required for transfer of the data to the head during printing cycle for one dot row, and a setting means that sets a timing for operation of the concurrent processing means, and is so constructed that the time required for single printing operation is minimized.</p> |
