PURPOSE:To output a picture with more excellent reproducibility in gradation by decreasing a dot diameter of a picture data. CONSTITUTION:A subscanning counter 102 counts a line number of a picture data in the subscanning direction and an arithmetic section 101 selects and outputs a picture data whose picture element in the horizontal scanning direction for each line in response to the counted line number. Then the interpolated picture data is binarized by a comparator 106 and the binarized data is outputted. |
