A resin composition having superior antistatic and electroconductive properties, particularly useful in the electro-electronic and automobile fields, are provided. The resin composition essentially comprises a polyphenylene ether resin, a polyamide resin, and carbon black, with other components and additives. Viscosities of the polyphenylene ether resin and the polyamide resin extracted from the composition have specific values, respectively.
