PURPOSE:To remove insulation coverings on the end part of a wire such as a litz wire securely without causing breakage of each strand and with simple operations. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of coil holding units 3 are attached to chains 26a and 26b in parallel with each other and the chains 26a and 26b are made to run by a driving motor 28. The end part of a coil held by the coil table 35c of each coil holding unit 3 is cut by a coil end cutter 4, the insulation coverings on the end parts of strands of the coil are removed by an insulation covering removing apparatus 5 having a remover bath 51 and the remover is removed by a brushing apparatus 6. Further, after washing and drying, the end part of the coil whose twist is loosened by the brushing apparatus 6 is twisted again by a twister. |
