A device for vacuum casting of metals, in particular alloys of aluminium, in which a mould pressing unit is placed on vertically extendable stands and located above an electric furnace situated on the base of the device, and which has at least one servomotor fastened in articulated fashion for changing the position of the pressing unit with respect to the furnace, while the pressing unit has a lower plate connected by an articulated joint to at least one straight-line mechanism, a fixed plate, an ejection plate, and a pressing plate mounted slidably on vertical guides, between which, there is a servomotor pressing on the drive of the pressing plate, characterized in that it has an extension arm (4) connected in articulated fashion, by means of at least one straight-line mechanism (13), to the fixed plate (11) of the mould pressing unit (7), while a straight-line mechanism (14) connected by an articulated joint to the lower plate (10) of the pressing unit is connected at its other end by an articulated joint to the extension arm (4), and that the cylinder of the servomotor (15) for changing the position of the pressing unit (7) is attached to the extension arm (4), while the piston-rod is connected to the fixed plate (11) of the pressing unit, above which plate there is a vertically movable frame (18) connected to the piston-rod of the pressing servomotor (17) and connected by means of at least one pull rod (19) to the pressing plate (12) of the mould pressing unit.<IMAGE>
