PURPOSE:To provide a cooling device of an outboard motor to prevent clogging of the cooling water passage due to a foreign substance and appropriately cool the engine. CONSTITUTION:A foreign substance invasion preventing member 15 is mounted in a cooling water passage. When a foreign substance generated from breakage of a water filter 9 or a stub-water-filter 10 and a foreign substance from the outside are sent to the cooling water passage 5, these foreign substances are stopped with the foreign substance invasion preventing member 14, thereby clogging of the cooling water passage 5 due to a foreign substance is prevented, and overheat of an engine can be prevented. |
