PURPOSE:To perform connection of a PCS wire to a main line easily and surely while easily manufacturing the PCS wire from the main line. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive wire is characterized in that the sectional structure of a main line 6a is made in such a way that an Nb filament 5 is buried in a Cu-Sn alloy to cover the whole of the Cu-Sn alloy with an Nb barrier 3 and this covered outside is covered with stabilized copper 1, and a PCS wire 7a is such a one in which the stabilized copper 1 is removed from the main wire 6a. The PCS wire can be manufactured by removing stabilized copper of the main wire, and when stabilized copper on both end parts is left at the time of removing stabilized copper of this main wire, the end part of the main wire and the end of the PCS wire can have the same sizes. |
