A method of manufacturing insulation material by mixing of asphalt, synthetic latex, plasticisers, fillers, and solvents, characterized in that into the petroleum asphalt with the softening point of 40 - 90 degrees C at 20 û 80 percent by weight the following is added: 0.5 û 10 percent by weight of corrosion inhibitor as Unikor, that is a mixture of barium salts, natural fatty acids and products of petroleum distillation, that is mixed until uniform, and separately prepared mixture of 2 û 20 percent by weight of synthetic rubber - latex, 1 û 20 percent by weight of plasticiser and optionally up to 3 percent by weight of a surface active substance that after mixing is added to the liquid asphalt modified with the corrosion inhibitor, i.e. Unikor, and the whole mixture is stirred until water evaporates, followed by optional addition of 3 percent by weight of a surface active substance, and after mixing an addition of up to 20 percent by weight of a dust or fibre filler and up to 20 percent of a powder filler is carried out, and after cooling down to 90 degrees C an aromatic solvent at 20 û 70 percent by weight is dosed.</p> |
