<p>PURPOSE:To adjust the tape tension detection device in an sub-assembly condition before it is mounted on the magnetic tape recording and reproducing device and to facilitate the adjusting work. CONSTITUTION:In the tape tension detection device that a tension pole 19 is provided on a tension arm 16 oscillated freely and supported by the chassis, the tension pole 19 is made to contact with the tape by pressing the tension arm 16 with a spring 29 and the tape tension is discriminated by detecting oscillating angle in the tension arm 16 with angle sensors 20, 50, a base member 11 is provided on the chassis. This base member 11 is oscillated freely and supported by the tension arm 16 and the angle sensor 50 is mounted on the base member 11.</p> |
