Water pigment paste containing inorganic pigments, non-ionics and/or anionics, and plasticisers, characterized in that it contains 30-80 parts by weight of inorganic pigments including possibly dispersing and placing agents, 0.5-5.0 parts by weight of a non-ionic - adduct of ethylene oxide to a saturated fatty alcohol, 0.5-3.0 parts by weight of an anionic, mixture of salts of condensed polynuclear aromatic sulfoacids, 1.0-10.0 parts by weight of dibutyl and/or dioctyl phthalate and water.
