1. A method of condensing nitrogen and hydrocarbons from natural gas, which involves cooling of compressed gas and then decompression of that gas, the condensed gas being returned in circulation until the time of condensation, characterized in that first the natural gas is decompressed from the initial pressure existing in the deposit to approximately half the value of that pressure, and the cold obtained in that process is used to lower the temperature of condensation of gas, after which, the partially decompressed gas is cooled and subjected to further decompression to a pressure of 1 MPa and is taken through heat exchangers to the lower column of a separating apparatus, where partial condensation of natural gas and initial separation into a fraction rich in methane and liquid nitrogen takes place.<IMAGE>
