A circuit for indicating increased leakage conductance, in particular of telecommunications transmission cables, characterized in that it contains a generator (G) with a transformer output with two output windings, of which the first winding (I) is connected to a diode rectifier (Pd), whose negative DC pole (Pd-) is connected to earth (<IMAGE>), the positive DC pole (Pd+) being connected to the resistor of a collector (R2) and to the positive pole (K+) of a comparator (K), whose negative pole (K-) is connected to earth (<IMAGE>), while the second winding (II) is connected to a diode multiplier (Pw), whose negative pole (Pw-) is connected via terminal (a) to the measured object (Y), whose other end is connected to earth (1<IMAGE>), and the positive pole (Pw+) of the diode multiplier (Pw) is connected to a capacitor (C) and resistor (R1) which are connected in parallel and whose other ends are connected to earth (<IMAGE>) and to the input (WE) of the comparator (K), whose output (WY) is connected to the base of a transistor (T), whose emitter is connected to earth (<IMAGE>) and whose collector is connected to the resistor of the collector (R2) and to output terminal (b), to which a leakage conductance sensor is connected.<IMAGE>
