PURPOSE:To open or close a folding cover in an electronic musical instrument safely and smoothly at all times without entailing any damage to a panel surface and an impact to it. CONSTITUTION:A cover body 2 of an electronic musical instrument is formed into such a structure that comprises a front cover 3 of at least this side to a player and a rear cover 4 in the rear, and a rear end of the front cover 3 is rotatably connected to a front end of the rear cover 4, then a rear end of the rear cover 4 is rotatably connected to an electronic musical instrument body 1. Subsequently, a front end of a link member 7 is pivoted to the front cover 3, while the rear end is connected to the instrument body 1 via a coil spring 10 or an elastic body, and an intermediate part between both ends of the link member 7 is pivotally supported on a shaft 11 tightly installed in the instrument body 1. |
