The transportable technical shelter intended to contain equipment and/or personnel, particularly of the military type, has a parallelepipedal shape and dimensions such that it may be transported on land, sea or air vehicles. This shelter consists of panels (4, 9) assembled to each other by elements (7, 7a), having an arc-shaped transverse cross-section, forming the edges of the parallelepiped, the said panels and the said elements each consisting of two metal sheets (10, 11; 13, 14) which are separated by a plastic foam (12) adhesively bonded to these two sheets, the assembly by welding of the sheets of these panels and of these elements directly providing the stiffness of the shelter, without a reinforcing structure or frame. Use in particular as a shelter for military installations or equipment. <IMAGE>
