PURPOSE:To prevent fusing with a thermal head, and to improve the travelling of the thermal head by containing modified silicone oil, the mean quantity of modification of which is specified to 1mol modifying group and which has specific viscosity, in a heat-resistant lubricating layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transferring coloring material layer is formed onto one surface of a base film, and a heat-resistant lubricating layer is formed onto the other surface, thus obtaining a sheet for thermal transfer recording. Modified silicone oil, which has the mean quantity of modification of 1500g or less as oil weight comprising modifying group to 1mol modifying group and viscosity at 25 deg.C of 600cSt or more, is contained in the heat-resistant lubricating layer. A thermal head is not fused to the base film and the recording sheet is not cut even at the time of high energy recording in the sheet for thermal transfer recording. |
