<p>PURPOSE:To realize an original reader which can accurately adjust the focus of a center part in a short focus point image-forming element array and which can fix the short focus image-forming element array where focus deviation owing to the bent of the center part does not occur in the original reader having the short focus image-forming element array. CONSTITUTION:A stop screw insertion through hole 7 is provided for a frame 1 for fixing the short focus image-forming element array 2, and at least three places of both parts in a longitudinal direction and the center part in the short focus image-forming element array 2 are fixed by a stop screw 6. Thus, the bent of the short focus image-forming element array 2 is prevented and focus deviation is prevented. At first, a light source 3A which is not the side of the insertion through hole 7 is fixed and the focus of the center part in the short focus image-forming element array 2 is adjusted and the array is fixed to the frame 1 with the stop screw 6 through the insertion through hole 7. Then, the focus of the both end parts is adjusted and the array is fixed, whereby a light source 3B on the side of the insertion through hole 7 is fitted.</p> |
