PURPOSE:To enable a high level of efficient shrinking processing with good hand by treating a polyester-based textile product in a high-temperature solution containing a polyester swelling agent before heat-setting the aforementioned polyester-based textile product. CONSTITUTION:A polyester-based textile product is treated in an emulsion (at a temperature as high as >=80 deg.C), composed of a swelling agent selected from phenol, xylene, diphenyl ether and benzyl alcohol for the polyester, preferably the benzyl alcohol and prepared by using a surfactant before heat-setting the aforementioned polyester-based textile product at >=140 deg.C temperature to carry out effective shrinking processing according to the above-mentioned simple operation without impairing hand, color fastness, etc. |
