PURPOSE: To obtain a tube for surgery for removing a secretion collected to an air tube on cuffs by a method wherein near ends of the cuffs are folded on the back sides thereof and at least one part of an expandable part thereof is overlapped on a near collar part so that the near collar part is kept from extending beyond the expandable part of the cuffs. CONSTITUTION: One second lumen 13 has a path to expand or contract cuffs 12 and is released through an external wall of a tube 1 through a hole 15 made inside the cuffs 12. The expandable lumen 13 seals the lower side of the hole 15. An expansion line 16 with a small diameter has one end joining on the expandable lumen 13 near a mechanical end of the tube 1 and makes the expandable lumen 13 with a small diameter communicate with the expansion line 16. An expansion display device 17 and a coupling 18 are provided at the other end of the expansion line 16. Thus, an injector is connected to supply air through the expandable lumen 13 to expand the cuffs 12 thereby enabling suction and removal of even a small amount of a secretion through a hole 19. |
