PURPOSE:To smoothly transfer the insulating magnetic developing powder after development from a developing sleeve to a developing powder removing sleeve by using the developing powder contg. release material at the time of said transferring. CONSTITUTION:A developing powder conveying nonmagnetic sleeve 13 having a stationary magnet 12 in its inside is revolved, by which the developing powder 15 in a hopper 14 is regulated to the thickness of a required amount by a regulating member 16 and is coated on a sleeve 13. The transfer thereof from the sleeve 13 to a developing sleeve 18 is accomplished by the application of bias voltage between the sleeves 13 and 18. The revolving speeds of the sleeves and the bias voltage value are controlled to regulate the developer powder on the sleeve 18 at 30-500mu. The developing powder after development is attracted off by the nonmagnetic sleeve 22 having a magnet 21 in its inside, and is recovered into the hopper. Fluorine-contg. polymers, olefin polymers, metal salts or amides of fatty acids are used for the release material. |
