<p>PURPOSE:To rationalize the process for producing a cushion body by setting a surface cover on a forming mold, superposing a hot melt air permeation stopping film thereon and heating a mold pad coated with an adhesive while pressurizing this pad. CONSTITUTION:The surface cover 1 is first set on the forming mold 2 and the hot melt air permeation stopping film 3 is superposed on the surface cover 1. The air permeation stopping film 3 is evacuated in this state by sucking air from the inside of the forming mold 2 to press the surface cover 1 to the forming surface 2a of the forming mold 2. The mold pad 5 coated with the hot melt adhesive 4 on the surface is then superposed on the air permeation stopping film 3 and while the pad is pressurized by a press device 6, steam is sent into the forming mold 2. The air permeation stopping film 3 near the forming surface 2a and the hot melt adhesive 4 are heated to join the mold pad 5 to the surface cover 1 by the hot melt adhesive 4 and to melt and solidify the air permeation stopping film 3, by which the sheet cushion body is produced.</p> |
