<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a computer system which includes a portable computer composed of a portable outer case for a microprocessor including a memory. CONSTITUTION: A series of medical examination items are shown on a one side face of an outer case, and an infrared transmitter is attached at a position adjacent to each examination item and successively transmits the produced infrared signals. An electronic pen 104 is connected to a microprocessor having an infrared sensor 122 via a wire. A user scans one of transmitters with the pen 104 and inputs the data to the microprocessor. A microphone 128 attached to the pen 104 is used to speak out the comments during the use of this device. A data port is connected to a center computer which is plugged into the data port to load the data to a main computer from a portable computer. Furthermore, a display panel is connected to the main computer and the data port displays the information under the control of the main computer.</p> |
