<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the time issuing seat tickets for an express train, for example, and to obtain a seat managing device which can efficiently issue seat tickets. CONSTITUTION:Ticket issuing devices 11 to 23 installed in each station are connected to a center computer 32 through communication channel 31, have seat data allocated by the center computer 32, and issue seat tickets by retrieving the allocated seat data. The center computer 32 collects the seat data of residual seats from the ticket issuing device of the station which the train is started, and transmits the data to the ticket issuing device of the next station so that the next station can issue the residual seat tickets.</p> |
