PURPOSE:To use the photoscanner in multimodes, by providing one reflective mirror obliquely to the rotation shaft and by causing the light beam to be incident along the rotation shaft to scan the light beam throughout the range of 360 deg.. CONSTITUTION:Laser light 21 from laser light source light source 20 has the intensity modulated by modulator 22 and is incident to beam expander 23. The light flux converted to the parallel light of a desired size goes along the center of holoow rotation shaft 10 of motor 1 through mirror 24 and is incident to rectangular prism 8 and is reflected by the slope and is emitted from face 8c. When motor 1 is rotated, prism 8 is rotated to deflect laser light 21 by 360 deg., and the read mode is set by the signal of detector 26, and original 25 is scanned through lens 27 by the beam of a fixed intensity. Read information is written in the line memory. When the recording mode is set by the signal of detector 32, recording medium 34 is scanned by the light modulated by modulator 22 to which memory information is input. |
