PURPOSE:To save the labor of checking the Japanese character code by an operator, and manually operating a conversion into a JIS code. CONSTITUTION:When the first bite is the JIS code (step 1), the character code of the first bite is outputted as it is. (step 2) When the second bite is an expanded unix code except for the Japanese character code (step 3), the first bite is omitted, and the character code of the second bite is outputted. (step 4) When the first bite is the expanded unix code (step 1), and the second bite is the Japanese character code (step 3), the code is converted into the Japanese character code of the JIS code, and outputted.
