PURPOSE: To obtain a laser beam printer in which a variety of standards of sheet can be used selectively while eliminating jam easily and the sheet discharge unit of developing system is simplified by disposing a guide slot mounting a developing part in front of an LSU 1 and disposing a sheet discharge section on the upper surface of an upper cover applied onto a fixing unit and the body. CONSTITUTION: A drum set 2 is fixed to a guide slot 20 fixed to the front face of an LSU 1 and a developing system comprising a developing unit 6 is fixed, in slip type, to the body. A fixing unit 10 and a sheet discharge roller unit 11 are fixed to the upper part of the developing system and the upper surface of an upper cover 29 is positioned on the side face of the unit 11. A paper feed cover 15 is provided with a stopper for preventing the rear part of a sheet by coupling a paper feed bracket 18 adjustable in the longitudinal direction depending on the sheet size and arranged on a front cover 19 along with a register roller 7 and a sheet feed roller 8. When jamming occurs at the part of the fixing unit 10, a fixing unit clip 22 is opened and counterpart jam of the fixing unit 10 can be removed downward of front face.
