PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of manufacturing by a method wherein the intermediate part of connecting tubes for inlet and outlet ports of heat medium are supported by fittings for clamping, in which a pipeline clamping piece is formed integrally, to braze the tubes integrally through summerized brazing in a brazing furnace. CONSTITUTION:Upon manufacturing a heat exchanger, a plurality of tubes 1 are arranged in parallel to fit both ends of them into headers 3, 4 and interpose corrugate fins 2 between the tubes 1. An upper side plate 8 is arranged at the outside of the uppermost fins 2 while fittings 12, 13 for clamping an inlet tube and an outlet tube respectively as well as lower mounting brackets 10, 10 are fixed temporarily to lower side frames 9 through rivets 14. Then, the base ends of connecting tubes 5, 6 for the inlet and outlet ports are connected to the headers 3, 4 in temporarily fixed condition while the intermediate part of the connecting tubes 5, 6 are arranged in the clamping pieces 12c, 13c of the fittings 12, 13 for clamping and, thereafter, an incorporated body, above mentioned, is brazed integrally in a brazing furnace whereby the whole of the heat exchanger is connected and integrated. |
