<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a reproduced picture immediately even when a channel is switched by decreasing a transmission information quantity of a channel other than a refresh execution channel at the refresh execution so as to increase the transmission information quantity of the execution channel. CONSTITUTION:In the case of executing refresh as to a channel A, a refresh control section 5 gives a control signal to provide a transmission information quantity of 20Mbps to, e.g. a coder 1, a transmission information quantity of 10Mbps to a coder 2, and a transmission information quantity of 5Mbps to coders 3, 4 respectively to a MUX (multiplexer) 6. A moving picture signal subjected to refresh being an output of the coder 1 and a mode signal, and a moving picture signal subjected to coding being an output of the coders 2-3 and a mode signal are respectively read and fed to the MUX 6. The MUX 6 multiplexes the coded signal from the coders 1-4 and outputs the result to a transmission line via a line 600.</p> |
