PURPOSE: To provide a photopolymerizable printing element contg. thermoplastic elastomer block copolymers for a flexographic printing plate. CONSTITUTION: This printing plate consists of a photopolymerizable layer and an elastomer layer. This elastomer layer is composed of at least one polystyrene blocks and at least one polybutadiene, polyethylene and (or) polypropylene blocks as a binder. The photopolymerizable printing element contains one or more thermoplastic elastomer block copolymers. The polystyrene content of the binder or binder mixture is 10 to 35wt.%, and the soln. viscosity of the block copolymers, with respect to the 5.23% soln. in the toluene, exceeds 5mm<2> /s or is equal thereto. The melt index, measured in accordance with ASTMD1238P, is below 10g/10min or equal thereto. |
